Lash Lift FAQs:

A lash lift and tint is a non-invasive lash service that uses cream solutions to permanently “lift” and tint the eyelashes. Lash lifting is essentially a new-age lash perm that uses cream-based products and silicone shields to curl natural eyelashes—eliminating the need for traditional eyelash curlers. Unlike old school lash perms, which use barrel rollers and give lashes a tight and unnatural curl, lash lifts use silicone shields to lift the natural lashes upward, simultaneously giving height, length and volume. Lash tints often accompany lash lifts (although a tint may be done on its own) and darkens the natural lashes. When a lash lift and tint are used together, they replace the need for daily eyelash curling and mascara.

  • How long will my Lash Lift last?

On average it will last 4-6 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle. During a lash lift, natural eyelash are permanently curled and lifted upward. However, as mature eyelashes naturally shed and new lashes grow in, you’ll reach a point where you have enough new growth to need another lash lift. This usually happens after 6-8 weeks.

  • Will it harm my lashes? Or how will it affect my natural lashes?

The active ingredient in Lash Lift is a perm solution. When performed by a trained stylist and when aftercare instructions are properly followed, your natural lashes will not be damaged. Additionally, we treat your lashes with a deep conditioning Keratin treatment which will strengthen your lashes, adding nutrients and deep conditioning.

  • Can I still wear makeup?

Yes, 24 hours after the treatment. However, We highly recommend  oil free mascara & eye make-up remover .

  • Will I still need to use an eyelash curler?

No, that is one of the benefits of a Lash Lift! The natural lash will stay curled throughout the rest of its cycle. Just be sure the lashes stay dry the first 24hours.

  • What’s the difference between a Lash Lift and lash extensions?

A lift gives a semi-permanent curl to the existing natural lashes while extensions are applied 1:1 on top of each natural lash. Lifting the lashes will enhance your natural lashes. Eyelash extensions give a more dramatic result, but require additional maintenance.

As with any beauty service, pregnant or breastfeeding women should speak with a physician before getting a lash lift. Lash lifting products do not touch the skin, however, if a reaction or sensitivity was to occur during or following the service, pregnant women may not be permitted to treat it with antihistamines or other medications. Pregnancy has also been known to affect the growth rate, and texture, of hair and eyelashes, so pregnant clients may experience less lift than usual.

  • What are lash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic silk ,cashmere and  real mink. They are attached to your eyelash one by one not to the skin. It is a very careful service, which requires skill and Precision. However, this will be a relaxing service to you. Together we will customize the lash look you desire.

About 1 hour 20 minutes. We have a 5-7 minutes consultation before the application and customize the length, curl, thickness, style and number of the extensions. After that, the application itself takes about 1 hour 15 minutes.

  •  Will it ruin or cause my natural lashes to fall out?

Based on the growth cycle of eyelashes, when applying lashes, lash stylist are trained to look for adult lashes to attach the individual synthetic lashes. Young (baby) lashes are left to allow them to fully develop and when it comes time to re-lash, we have new strong lashes to bond to.Lash extensions will not cause your natural eyelashes to fall out. Remember that your natural lashes have their own life cycle of falling and growing – like the hair found elsewhere on your body. It's hard to notice small lashes falling out, but when attached to a thicker, longer lashes they become much more noticeable! Once the extensions are removed, your own eyes may appear smaller, your natural lashes, shorter and sparser because you've been accustomed to a full set of longer, thicker lashes.

  • Are eyelash extensions safe?

They are safe when applied properly. They do not cause damage to your natural lashes, however, they need to be taken care of. The only damage that can be caused is if they are pulled or rubbed especially when you remove make-up.

  • How long does the lash extensions last?

This depends on the person’s natural lash cycle. On average a person will lose 3 to 7 natural lashes per day. Your natural lash cycle is about 90 days. When your natural lashes sheds the extensions will fall out with that lash. To maintain a full appearance is recommended to get a fill every 2 to 43weeks. Your initial full set takes around two hours and refills can be done and as little as one hour. When your natural lashes, the extensions will fall out with that lash.

  • What maintenance is required?

We recommend that you lightly brush your eyelash extensions after washing your face to ensure they remain straight and in line with your natural lashes. You will be shown how to wash and care for them at your appointment. We recommend refills every 2-3 weeks.
