Beauty Artist Studio New York: Permanent Makeup, Lash & Brow and Korean Facials in Midtown Manhattan

By Nayoung Jeong, Founder & Lead Artist

Beauty Artist Studio New York is a Korean beauty studio in Midtown Manhattan, specializing in natural-looking permanent makeup, personalized lash & brow treatments, and advanced Korean facials — all expertly tailored to enhance the natural beauty within you. Founded in 2016 by lead artist Nayoung Jeong, the studio is at 12 E 44th Street, three minutes from Grand Central.

Who we are

"Korean beauty studio" describes how we work more than what is on our menu. Every visit starts with a conversation about your features, your skin and how you'd like to feel when you leave. Then we design the treatment around you. No two sets of brows are drawn the same way, and no facial follows a script.

Many of our clients have been with us for years. As Lauren A. put it, "I've been coming here for about three years and always have a great experience!"

Permanent makeup

Nano Brows are still what we're best known for. First-time clients often feel nervous, so we never rush: we talk through the shape you have in mind and choose the shade together.

"I was very nervous but they turned out so natural looking," Yen L. wrote after her Nano Brows. And Prince G. wrote that Nayoung "really treats the brows like an art form."

  • Nano Brows. Nano Brows use ultra-fine, hair-like strokes to replicate the appearance of natural brow hairs, creating a soft, realistic, and beautifully textured finish.

  • Nano Combo Brows. Hair-like strokes combined with soft shading, for brows with both texture and definition.

  • Soft Powder Brows. A soft, shaded finish that looks like a light brow powder, also known as Microshading.

  • Lip Blush. Soft color that brings out the natural tone and shape of your lips. "Nayoung was patient and listened to my concerns," Ngoc V. told us after hers.

  • Eyeliner. From subtle lash line enhancement to a more defined, designed eyeliner look, we offer different styles based on your eye shape and personal preference. Whether you prefer a soft, natural look or more noticeable definition, our goal is to enhance your eyes and make your daily makeup routine easier.

  • SMP (scalp micropigmentation). Fine pigment placed in the scalp to create the look of fuller hair.

Lash & Brow

Our lash and brow treatments work with your own hair. Joanna K., after her first lash lift: "Calmed me down and talked me through it."

  • Korean Keratin Lash Lift. Our glue-free Korean Keratin Lash Lift uses a specially formulated balm to gently lift and curl your natural lashes from the root, creating a longer, more lifted appearance without extensions. Designed to help minimize stress on your natural lashes.

  • Lash Lift & Tint. Our Korean Keratin Lash Lift combined with a lash tint adds darker color and more definition, making your natural lashes look longer, fuller, and more noticeable without mascara.

  • Brow Lamination & Tint. Creates a fuller, lifted, and more textured brow look by gently setting your natural brow hairs in your desired direction. A customized tint adds color and definition for beautifully shaped brows.

  • Premium Lash Extensions. Individually applied lash extensions, customized to complement your eye shape, natural lashes, and personal style — from soft and natural to fuller, more dramatic looks.

Korean-style facials

At Beauty Artist Studio New York, we embrace the Korean skincare philosophy of prevention, deep hydration, and long-term skin barrier health rather than quick fixes or aggressive treatments. Our Korean facials go beyond skincare, combining scalp, décolleté, and facial massage with relaxing air-compression leg massage, so you can fully unwind while your skin receives the attention it deserves.

  • Customized Korean facials. Tailored to what your skin needs that day.

  • Kyung Rak (경락) sculpting facial. Our skincare expert uses special Korean massage techniques on your face and upper body to help reduce the appearance of puffiness, relieve facial muscle tension, and promote a refreshed, sculpted appearance.

  • Wedding and event prep. For a wedding, we recommend starting six to twelve months before the day, so your skin, brows and lashes are all at their best together.

The full menu is on our Facials page.

Your first visit

A separate consultation is not required for most services. We include a thorough consultation at the beginning of your appointment to discuss your goals, concerns, and appropriate treatment options. However, we recommend a consultation in advance for clients with previous permanent makeup, significant corrections, complex skin concerns, or anyone who is unsure which service to book.

Meet the team

I've always loved using my skills and passion for beauty to help people look and feel beautiful. That's what inspired me to open Beauty Artist Studio New York.

I wanted to create a space where every client feels special, understood, and genuinely cared for. A place where beauty isn't one-size-fits-all, but every treatment is thoughtfully tailored to each person's unique features, needs, and preferences.

By combining my Korean aesthetic touch with personalized care, my goal has always been to enhance each client's natural beauty and help them leave feeling beautiful, confident, and happy.

I began my career at Lancôme in Korea and have worked in beauty in New York since 2008. Today I'm joined by a team who share that approach:

  • Sabina Park, General&Marketing Manager and Lash Artist

  • Sora Park, Lead Esthetician

  • Beau Park, Senior PMU Artist

  • Heather Park, Lash & Brow Styling Artist and PMU Artist (Soft Powder Brows & Lip Blush)

  • Ann Back, Esthetician

  • Jennie Chong, Esthetician and Lash & Brow Styling Artist

  • Bora Jeong, Lash & Brow Styling Artist
